Repairs made by Curtis Harvey
Problems:
- light leak caused red cloud over image
- missing image data caused by sending tiff over network created ulgy line right through the middle of the image
- lots of dust, hairs, and scratches from an unclean high-resolution scan.
- Original

- Repaired

Repairs:
- After attempting a few different methods including patch tool and copying and pasting a 1 pixel tall selection above and below the line I settled for the rubber stamp tool, though not the quickest solution, it provided the most control and best results.
- Painting in at varying opacities a channel mixer layer proved to be the answer for removing the red cloud.
- ALL HAIL THE HEALING BRUSH/PATCH TOOL!!! 5 minutes with PS 7.0 latest tool and all the dust and scratches from the scan are gone, it really is too easy, I feel like I am cheating.
*** A few adjustment/fill layers (color, luminosity, saturation, and levels) painted at varying opacities throughout the image and the final result was reached.
